nanoConnect

HDV, DV, AVCHD to HD/SD-SDI Workflow [HDMI to HD/SD-SDI Converter]

HDV, AVCHD and DV Playback

nanoConnect works with virtually any HDMI enabled source, including the new AVCHD camcorders as well as HDV devices. You can even play back your DV tapes and get SD-SDI.

Upgrade your Connection

Now you can affordably add full HD/SD-SDI output to your camcorder / deck and enjoy high-quality 100% digital video and audio. Analog conversion losses are a thing of the past.

1080i, 720p or SD

nanoConnect takes advantage of the decoder and scaler inside of your HDV / AVCHD camera / deck, so you can get 1080i or 720p or SD video-out independent of your native format. This versatile converter supports a wide range of frame rates and resolutions, including 60, 59.94, 50, 30, 29.97, 25, 24, and 23.98 Hz.

Simple Setup and Operation

nanoConnect is so simple, there are no cards to install or software to load. No messy cabling or DIP switches to set up. Just plug in the HDMI cable from your source and nanoConnect automatically locks to the incoming signal and ouputs the corresponding HD/SD-SDI (with embedded audio). We even include the power supply and an HDMI cable. Nothing could be easier!

Works with popular NLEs or live-capture

nanoConnect works with most popular NLEs that support deck control via Firewire. Now you can avoid all the rendering and performance issues of HDV and AVCHD and capture uncompressed HD/SD or into an I-Frame CODEC. You can also capture “never-compressed” live-output for the ultimate in video quality. name=btn_linkArrow_top6
