Product Overview

  • The e-LCR Express Card Reader is the first truly affordable SxS memory card alternative. At a fraction of the cost of existing SxS media, the “e-LCR” removes the high media costs associated with a purely digital workflow.
  • The e-LCR Express Card Reader has been specifically designed by Video Professionals to accommodate SD/SDHC cards for HD acquisition and is fully compatible with Sony EX1/EX3 cameras.
  • The e-LCR Express Card Reader has the same physical footprint of other SxS media therefore giving you 100% compatibility with camera memory bay doors. It uses a push-in/push-out mechanism where the whole SD card is enclosed in the reader and works with memory cards from most of the popular manufacturer’s, including Sandisk, Transcend and Kingston.
  • The “e-LCR” is capable of recording 1920x1080 35Mb/s HD in the same way as SxS cards. Producers can now complete several days of shooting and download when they return to the studio eliminating the need to take a laptop into the field.
  • The “e-LCR” has largely decreased the cost per hour of footage to between 1/6th and 1/8th of SxS. The “e-LCR” card adapter was specifically designed and engineered as a low-cost alternative to SxS card acquisition without compromising any of its capabilities. name=btn_linkArrow_top6

Why should I use the LCR card instead of the Sony SxS card?

The exceedingly high cost of the SxS cards, makes the LCR a must-have item in every professional camera kit.

Just Like Tape

The affordability and flexibility of SDHC memory and the secure e-LCR design now make it practical to utilise solid state memory in the same way as tapes. Use more e-LCR cards as the production expands just like tape. Keeping the original media as your master archive gives you security and peace of mind, allowing you to continue using your tried and true methods of tape based production. Because it’s solid-state you get the speed and flexibility of the new digital world too. We even include a durable coloured plastic case and 10 reusable labels so you never mix up your productions.

Professional Use
