Hauppauge HVR1700-MCE (OEM)

HYBRID DIGITAL or ANALOGUE low-profile TV Tuner for Microsoft® Windows® Vista Media Center or Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005

HVR1700 MCE brings analogue and digital terrestrial TV (DVB-T) to your PC! If you live in an area where you can receive free-to-air digital TV, the HVR1700MCE supports digital TV watching, pause, recording and playback on your PC's screen. If you live in an area where you can't currently receive free-to-air digital TV, the HVR1700MCE can still be used to watch and record analogue TV from cable or a TV aerial. But you are prepared for the future! When digital TV comes to your area, HVR1700MCE will also receive the new digital TV channels. name=btn_linkArrow_top6

Please note :
  • This is a OEM product (non-retail) and is to be integrated as part of a complete turnkey Windows MCE PC system at the time of purchase by your dealer.
  • Although the HVR1700 is a Hybrid Dual TV tuner card, under MCE the unit can only be configured to receive either Analogue or Digital signals, not both simultaneously. This is a limitation of Windows Media Center at present. Reception type is selected during MCE set-up.
