NewTek Ships International Version of the Award Winning TriCaster™.

San Antonio, Texas - July 4, 2005

NewTek, Inc., manufacturer of industry-leading 3D animation and video products, today announced the shipment of the International version of TriCaster™, a turnkey, portable, live production system that combines the needs of both presentation and video, providing a comprehensive toolset designed to appeal to corporate presenters, educators and media ministry users. This enhanced version enables a wider scope of users to take advantage of the portable live production system having support for NTSC (US), NTSC (Japan), and PAL (Australia/Europe) standards.

With the newest release, International TriCaster, NewTek has presented users worldwide with the ability to grasp the interactive nature of live production and incorporate this need in the presentation market. The easy-to-use interface of TriCaster is designed without using video jargon, allowing users who aren't video professionals to generate quality live presentations, webcasts and video. Using real-time switching and editing, PowerPoint® support, template driven titles, over 200 transitions and simultaneous distribution to Video, Internet and Projectors, TriCaster combines extensive functionality with portability providing an all-in-one solution for any presentation need.

TriCaster features include:
  • iVGA: gives you the functionality of high-end scan converters by allowing you to integrate full motion screens from remotely connected computers.
  • Live streaming to the corporate Intranet or the Web without licensing or per-seat fees.
  • Keying, to mix your graphics with live video.
  • Virtual VCR cues digital video clips and plays them back the instant they are selected for live output, boosting the production value of your presentations.
  • XGA projector output ensures that your graphics are presented at the highest possible resolution and that video is up scaled to match.
  • Output to video, S-Video or composite
  • Archive presentations to hard drive for later playback, editing or on-demand streaming
