Jam Trax™ software is a fun way to create your own pop, rock, and hip-hop songs using music samples called loops. Loop-based music creation is how much of today's music is made, and Jam Trax software includes over 600 loops using instruments such as drums, keyboards, horns, guitars, bass, and sound effects that you can combine any way you want.
 To make a song, simply pick the instruments and effects you want to use, "paint" the sounds into tracks using the Paintbrush tool, and click Play to listen. It's that easy! Jam Trax software automatically adjusts the pitch and tempo of every loop to match your song so you can compose with confidence.

What's a loop?
A loop is a music sample that repeats itself in a composition. A single loop might be a drum beat, guitar riff, keyboard part, or a vocal sample. By combining loops in various ways, it's easy to create complete, original songs.
How does Jam Trax software work?
Jam Trax software uses our acclaimed "Pick, Paint, and Play" interface just like our other music creation applications such as ACID® Pro and ACID Music Studio™ software. To create a song, simply pick the loops you want to use, "paint" them into tracks using the Paintbrush tool, and click Play to listen. It's that easy!
What if I don't know anything about music?
The great thing about loop-based music creation is that you don't need to know how to play an instrument or how to read music to make your very own songs. As you add new loops to your song, the software automatically matches the pitch and tempo to your current project so it's almost impossible to make a mistake. Plus, Jam Trax software includes 12 complete demo songs so you can see examples of finished songs.
Can I record with Jam Trax software?
Yes. Plug your own microphone into your PC's sound card and click Record. Jam Trax software will capture your live vocal or instrument performance.
Can I share my Jam Trax songs with others?
Of course! Jam Trax software lets you export your songs as a .wav or .wma file and instantly email it to friends and family. It's easy to share your creations with Jam Trax software.
