Hauppauge has developed support for Windows Vista on many of its HauppaugeTV products. Below is a list of products which run under WindowsXP MCE, Vista "Premium and Ultimate" and links to the current drivers. Note: The Vista testing was done using the Vista Media Center application for TV watching and recording. The Hauppauge WinTV application is not yet supported under Vista.

** Windows XP MCE 2005 SP3 Update only has a potential issue with the NOVAT500 if you have a USB remote controller. To fix follow the below instructions:
1) Update to Service Pack 3
2) After SP3 is installed restart the machine. Make sure the USB remote's receiver is unplugged.
3) Shutdown the machine.
4) Plug the USB remote's receiver.
5) Restart the machine and let it Plug and Play the USB remote's receiver.

Notes:

  • Tests were performed using the Vista RTM Build 6000.
  • A tick indicates this function is fully working.
  • If you wish to use the Analogue/AV tuner in the HVR1100/1110 series you will need to install the SoftEncoder software found on your original product install CD.
