Matrox Announces Support for StudioCoast vMix Video Mixing Software

MONTREAL – Oct. 16, 2013 — Matrox® Video today announced support for StudioCoast’s vMix video mixing software across the entire line of Matrox MXO2™ capture devices and the Mojito MAX™ I/O card. One of Streaming Media Magazine’s, “Best of NAB 2013” award winners, vMix is a complete live video production software solution that provides live mixing, switching and streaming of SD and HD (up to 1080p) video sources including cameras, video files, DVDs, still images and more.

Matrox MXO2 devices are the ideal portable capture solutions for streaming live events from wherever they are happening. Users simply connect an HD or SD camera or any other video source and can use the live pass-through feature for external video monitoring.  Matrox Mojito MAX provides the same great functionality in a ¾-length PCIe card that can be easily integrated into a PC desktop or server.
